Hearts amongst April Showers

April arrived and it was oh so cold and wet. Some days we had atrocious weather, hail, sleet and snow all mixed together in a very short time.

So, we were unable to get into the Garden very much and in the end I gave in. I decided it was time to start a new Art Project. I took myself off to The Range and was pleasantly surprised to find a pack of Seaside Style papers. First Edition's Sail Away designed by Jessica Hogarth. The colours are very Vintage muted shades and I Love them. It made a nice change.

I had received a Sissix Big Shot for my Birthday back in December but had never got round to using it properly. It took a bit of getting used to but I soon got the hang of it and decided which dies I preferred to work with.

I made a set of cards and even managed to incorporate the upside down hearts which I had produced. I had seen on Pinterest an idea I liked, called 'inchies' and decided to give that a go too. I was more than Happy with the results. I know own two sets of square dies so I shall be making more of these. I also fancy making a paper patchwork design.

Thanks for reading. I hope you like my new designs.

Brand new projects coming soon..... 'Tag albums'
